I know there was alot of speculation in the article as to why the numbers of women entering the ministry were so much lower than in years gone by. I think there was some speculation ( in the article at least ) that it was a reflection of society in general and a backlash from the women's lib movement. And women in the Church not wanting to be identified with that....
