Here is the problem, or part of it...

The definition of treason involves aid and comfort to the enemy.  Isn't it
well within the realm of plausibility that a Senator (one of the highest
offices in our system) who publicly tells the enemy that they are doing a
good job is crossing that line?

an opinion... reporters are sticking microphones in her face asking her

I thought that she sounded much like any other politician that might have
