Ping-pong may be a healthy and harmless sport for teens but it has emerged as the focus of a sex scandal in China. Internet chat rooms have been talking up a storm over the decision by the Chinese national table tennis team to suspend four players for "romantic relations" with teammates, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. Three women were sent back to their provincial teams but only one of the three men was sent down. Ma Lin was retained on the national men's team, despite his affair with a new teen player, Bai Yang, as was Wang Hao, who was seeing another young player, Fan Ying.
