While a recent customer using Mdaemon, I've intergrated scoring into Spam Assassin. The weight for the "Generic" tag I use is 5.0 to match the SA Spam Threshold. Good emails will get reduced by the baysian system. In addtion I setup a couple of additonal weights for the nastier catagories, like Phishing at 25.0. So I use generic weighting plus a couple over-rides for the bad stuff. Seems to work well this way.
