As an experienced flyer I use simulators a lot during winter to practice
aerobatic routines. These programs are also very useful to keep basic skills
sharp. Some programs are worthless, others passable. The best one I have
found, and I have mentioned this before in a previous thread, is the old
Flight Unlimited I for either DOS or windows 9x/ME. It utilizes a fluid
dynamic rendering process that approches actual flight conditions. I Have
not tried all the sims, perhaps there are others that work well. Most of the
R/C modeling specific sims I have found to be not so good. My two cents.
