I have just had the pleasure of viewing Paul Naton's new Pro Aerotow video. Having produced three professional aerotow video tapes myself during the heyday of the Elmira Aerotow, I have to say Paul's effort is beyond compare. Super scale ships both up close and personal, interviews with the pilots, and fantasic flying footage of some of the largest and most pristine scale ships in the U.S. Dan troxell's flying aerobatics with his Grunau Baby is the high point of the tape for me, but there are many outstanding flights and it is hard to pick the one best. There is a great graphic demo of exactly how to install tow releases, verbal instructions on how to aerotow, and a real time video demo of a first time aerotow pilot receiving a lesson from an experienced pilot. I would recommend this video to anyone interested in the beauty and grace of large scale soaring, and also to anyone interested in the mechanics of aerotowing. There are several manufacturers highlighted, included flying footage and descriptions of; EMS and a flight demo of the Serber, the HKM ASW-27, the Pegasus tow plane at work. Axel's pilots, and Bruckmann modellbau.
Buy the tape! Get hooked! Go fly! Cheers, John D. Endless Mountain Models [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.scalesoaring.net/EMM/rand.htm RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
