Jeff Naber >> Hi Jeff, Course I was probably the first to use the Power Stick with a Stylus and that means I most likely have the most experience. First I will tell you that the antenna has been working fine since day one and have used it in about 15 different states ( of the Union that is :-) I have flown it in cluttered HLG and Slope Combat environs and lots of TD flying. The Stik comes from Germany where they have extremely strict laws for using things like after market antennas. It is produced by Kavan. Two things come to mind in your friends situation, The RX is slightly off tune or shift The Module is slightly off tune or shift I am using a Spectra Module. I did have some quirkiness till I sent my RX's in for retune ( I do that once every ten years whether they need it or not :-) How much dective work has been done in this case? Does it do it will all of the guys planes or is it plane-specific? Its easy to blame the Power Stick or Rubber Ducky since they stick out like a sore thumb :-) BUT, the stick didn't effect the majority of my 50 or so planes. And logic would dictate that if it works on mine ( and other guys who saw mine and have switched (Vision owners too by the way) its probably not the root of your friends problem. If you find it does it to all your planes, well then the gods don't want YOUR friend to use one :-) Gordy RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
