Some people prefer the dive test, some the inverted test.
I have been told to only use the inverted test on symmetrical
or semi symmetrical airfoils, not TD foils like the 7037, and
not on flat bottom airfoils. The theory is that it should not
take much down elevator to fly the ship inverted it the
CG is set correctly. "Not Much" is the same precision
measurement that is used in the dive test. You know,
it should recover "Gently".

Subject: [RCSE] Inverted test question?

For the "Setting up a full house Plane" site.

I have heard mention of testing the setup of a plane by inverting it.
What does this do and what are the particulars.

Thanks,
Tom
