If you take this 225 mph jet under full power, pull up vertical and shut off the engine, how many seconds of vertical climb would it have until it stopped climbing and began to fall? Having recently observed Joe Wurts doing Dynamic Soaring, he's had some incredible vertical punch out times, but I don't know what his record is. Has anyone ever timed his vertical punch with a stopwatch? If so, what was the time & calculated speed? For those of you who haven't seen DS yet, this ought to give you a better appreciation for the incredible speeds attained (without a jet engine).
