You can either use the single arm or cut the 4-arm one single arm.  Use the 
arm that when the servo is at neutral it aligns to a right angle with your 
control rod.  That usually works the best.

Length of arm will vary depending on type and torque of servo.  You can 
adjust either ends of your linkage to get the throw necessary.  Start with 
the arm the same length as the control horn, then move the clevis or Z-bend 
on the servo in closer to reduce throw or move the clevis in closer on the 
control service horn to increase throw.
