If you live in the Midwest and Midsouth you know what kind of weather we had the last few days.

Warm/Dry following Cool/Wet...which equals thermals.

BIG AIR TODAY!

I met Jimbo, TK and Don for a little morning session.

All I did was rip it up with one of my well worn ICON Lites, this one has over 85 hours clocked on it.  Thermal looping at max speed endlessly from 1200 to 1500 feet.  Then I broke out my Image 2m and took a very long flight doing the same.

Dr. McCarthy then let me fly his new Pike Superior, and which flew very nicely.... then I started to have a good time and Jimbo gently reminded me that he likes this model very much...  so I landed downwind.  8-)

Then TK let me play with his new Insanity, which also flew very nicely.  TK just let me dog it around the sky hard, in fact he reached over flipped it up to high rates for me.  ;-)  I have flown Psyko's and Schpot Dorker's and the Insanity suits my style more than any of DP's previous designs.

I do like these big ships.  TK and I ended the day lapping the Hampshire field X/C style with the ICON and the Insanity chasing each other with their long legs, that was fun.

Full on speed run from altitude iced off the day.  ;-)
