Snow? What's that?

Today its going to be low 80s with dawn to dusk sun. Its not (TD) flying weather because of the wind so I'll probably spend an hour or two working on my current building project -- a R/C sailboat. This is the aquatic equivalent of the generic 2 channel 2 meter poly trainer, its 24" and its used as a pool toy (its replacing a similar one that's EOL).

I have to finish repairs to a Stork, I've been scratching my head figuring out how to replace the about 3 square inches of top surface (I know its a no-brainer for many but its a headache for me -- moldies are a pain if you ding them). Then I need a new 3 meter....

Too many planes means far too much time cycling batteries. That's all I seem to do with my slope planes!

(BTW -- I've got relatives who live "somewhere east of Saskatoon" so I have a vague idea what winter's really about. Seems like its worth missing out on.)(OTOH there's no shortage of places to fly on the prairies during the rest of the year.)
