Project 6: a scratch built HLG made to fit in a plastic rifle case for
travel. Plastic blow-molded fuse from old COX sloper cut in half for a pod,
Corndogger HLG wings, arrow-shaft fuse and foam/balsa tail group. Thing is darn
heavy
and doesn't fly well. yet.  A Second COX Slope Hawk pod is destined to become
a twin boom tailed electric pusher.

Project 7: Kyosho Melody 1/.5m motorglider. Had this since mid-80's, a
beautiful little semiscale-looking blow-molded plastic version of a generic
European
glass slipper t-tailed plane with thin, scale-like Eppler wings removable
motor pod on top. Just a very sexy little thing. (Really would like to make a
mold of the fuse before I accidentally kill it some day) This thing was a dog
when it was new, mostly because I flew it too heavy and the nicad and motor
technology of that day was weak.  It was a fair thermal glider on a hi-start
though, and the motor pod would work great with current outrunner or lipo/
speed 400
technology and the cheap tiny hitec 55 servos I couldn't afford in the
eighties.

Project 8: Graupner UHU plastic fuse for 2.5 meter Speed 600 electric soaring
on 7 cells of sub-c nicad mojo. Tail built; wings, not so much. Heavy
fertigrumpf plastic supposed to be indestructible.

Project 9: Original Kyosho foam EDF F-16 fuselage parts, only $17, how could
I resist, I intend to make more scale-like wings and tail from scratch and
make it look like an IL Air Guard Falcon but have yet to decide if it will be
EDF
or a pusher or what.

Project 10: GWS A-10 warthog EDF. I've worked on an A-10 model project on and
off for 15 years without success or progress, this one just screamed "buy me
before they stop making me!"  And was cheap. It's on hold in storage.

Project 11: NIB Klingberg wing 100 incher.  Waiting for better results out of
the 2-meter one first, plus, the kids were always underfoot and I was afraid
I didn't have the room, gear, and several hours in a row to try and prepare
and glass the wing parts, plus, my building skills were immature and like as
not
I'd have goobered it up, and she's so pretty she deserves better.  This one
will probably wait till the eldest kid moves out or someone builds it for me.

Project 12: Zagi THL that has so far neither been successfully "T" or "HL".
No slopes by me, so I'm converting it into a cheap trainer for my son, Intend
to put a really cheap  and slow GWS speed 400 pusher on it.

Project 13: Kyosho 2.4M motorglider "Typhoon"  t-tailed, looks kinda like a
Fournier, pretty. Kyosho used to make these in gas and electric versions as the
"Valencia". Got the fuse and tail for free, just need to build some wood
wings and add a geared speed 600, or now maybe some kind of outrunner motor.

Project 14:  Goldberg Electra custom, with  aileron wing with V-tail, built,
covered, needs guts and motor. Just lost interest, it was only a so-so
covering effort.

Stay tuned for the thrilling conclusion! Mark S.
