The 3M company produce a 1" flexible/waterproof plastic tape called BLENDERM. I have an ancient Jouster that has the ailerons and flaps hinged with it. No failures for over 10 years. I beleive that one of the major model supply companies sells it under their own name and packaging for park flyers but if you open it up the inside label reads 3M/ Blenderm. There is a textured version produced by another firm that is not good for our purposes. I will have a new Jouster Mk1 and a Easy/LTS this summer and they will be hinged with Blenderm.
