Scobie,

I fly blimps in the America West Arena for the NHL Coyotes. We have three blimps and
they use JR642's. Although the radio link has
always been positive, everyone of the POS transmitters has broken a gimbal. The tranny
for my blimp has a broken rudder stick. We
rigged it with rubber bands to for centering. The aileron stick broke two weeks ago,
also fixed with rubber bands. Each of the the
others has suffered the same fate. We are waiting till the end of the season to send
them in. Maybe we will have them back by next
season.

The guy that runs the company that operates the blimps is on Team JR. We have fun
since I fly for Futaba!! I offered to get REAL
radios for the blimps.

Until someone duplicates the sticks and gimbals that were on the old Proline radios we
will just have to suffer!!
