I tossed a paper airplane off the 4th floor from the top of the Luxor in
Vegas. That was pretty cool! You need to set the airplane for a slow
circular glide so you can stay in the center of the pyramid. They even give
you material in the room to make the airplane from! Nice place.

I once threw a small balsa stick glider off the Seattle
Space Needle. The glider spiraled all the way to the ground
after clipping a wire just after launch. :-)

I've managed to glide a Challenger corporate jet(with the
engines at flight idle) 197 miles, from a starting altitude
of 39,000' and a speed that was around 230 kts. for most of
the time. From the same altitude, if I maintain 300 kts., I
can make about 125 miles.
