Hey guys , no need to get upset about AOL's or anybody's
poorly written software . Not when there are plenty of FREE browser based
email services out there . I , obviously , use hotmail.com which is ok and works
most of the time . There are many others like excite.com , juno.com , etc...
Just search for free email and you'll get a bunch of links .
Anyway - this is only one of several email accounts I
have and I use it for the list exclusively . This way the list activity doesn't
affect/mix with my normal correspondence (that would help out the wife
frustration problem too). And of course there is no problem with sending
text-only emails .
I'm only using hotmail because it can be accessed through the
latest version of Outlook Express , which also reads my other normal (pop3)
accounts . So it's a single piece of software to access most of my accounts .
But normally Web-based email is accessed through any web browser - even AOL
Check it out , it has made my life a little simpler .. One
account for the list , another for ebay , another for friends and family
..
