I am contemplating bidding on item shown in url below. I've dreamed of
attending the IHLGF for a couple years now. Since I live on the east
coast however I haven't been able find the time to get away. This item
may be just the ticket I need.
Could anyone shed some light on whether this thing has a storage
compartment that might be large enough to store a couple Lil Bird2's, my
transmitter, charger, toothbrush and some clean underwears. Also, are
there any airports near the IHLGF field where I might be able to land
this thing. I do not have a pilot's licence. Is it hard to get one? I
figure that being an r/c flier I already know most of the basics of
flight theory and such.
Also, if the contest ends at about 5:00 on Sunday, how much time should
I figure to get home - my wife wants to know (I'm trying to talk up all
the positive points to her.)
