My favorite method to taper ailerons from standard board stock is with a band
saw. Run the piece of standard stock through the band saw and two
ailerons are created instantly. Each aileron is then run through the saw a
second time to taper the leading edges. Done. Three passes through the saw
yields two ailerons ready for use. Very handy.
