Folks, I'm interested in both thermal and slope in the Palm Springs, CA area. I'm aware that D.U.S.T fly on a school field on Sundays, but (1) that's the least convenient day for me, (2) if I'm on vacation, I'd like to be able to fly more than once a week, and (3) this doesn't address the issue of sloping. I talked to the guy in the local model shop, but all he knew about was D.U.S.T.
