Don't know if it qualifies as a 'duckie', but my JR base-loaded antenna has
given me no trouble.  It's a bit longer than the generic duckies and it's an
OEM part.

Had my Artemis so high a few weeks ago that it scared me, but no problems
with reception.  I also notice plenty of others locally using all manner of
duckie-looking things, with no apparent problems.
