Subject: [RCSE] Do Not Quick Charge??

>I just lost my Hades few days ago. I am so mad because I'd only crashed
twice in >2 years but both were fatal and both were caused by battery
failure!
>What cause the sudden death of battery?
>The pack I used was left in the tool box for 2 month untouch, could that

>someone told me I should never use quick charge because it could seriusly
damage >the battery and cause a sudden death. Is that true??

when you use a battery not all the cells discharge at the same rate. When
you fast charge this uneven-ness doesn't get leveled out. So each time you
discharge the battery you get a little more uneven-ness. So... one day you
charge up the battery and start flying.... one of the cells is only partly
charged... so it "falls off" first and early...

BANG one dead model.

Fast charging is OK as long as you do a nice long slow charge occasionally.
My transmitter bettery in my Futaba FF7 super is getting on for 10 years old
including 3 years of complete non-use and still getting the same capacity as
it always did.
