Harley and all, I use a length of line attached between the tow ring and the 'chute, perhaps 18 inches long. When the line comes off the towhook, the weight of the ring causes it to fall away from the plane, and faster than the 'chute. And, of course, I ALWAYS use a welded steel ring, not a key ring, for a tow ring! Just my .02 worth. Dave Darling Modesto, CA
