The 8013 is the easier radio to program for a standard 4 wing servo model. Lots of references out there.

As far as 10 radios older than the 10X, the 10SX and 10SXII were both very capable of setting up 4 wing servo models. Even 6 wing servos. If you go way back to the 10S, you had fewer built-in mixers so it was a little short on mixers.
