Hi Gene and All: The tow hook location on the plans is the one that has been used to start test flying. After you are comfortable with the launch you may move the hook back a small amount. Using the stock position will result in near straight up launches, you will want to keep a nice tension on the winch line to keep the speed up. With the spoilers set to open to an angle of 70 degrees the RESolution will come out of a thermal at a comfortable speed. When using the spoilers you should apply some up elevator to maintain a slow forward speed with an increase in the sink rate. As far as the performance think of the RESolution as a laid back comfortable, easy flying Sapphire. Best of luck and have fun.
