Fantastic plane once you get it outfitted. This plane begs for power, so make sure you account for a high-end motor and controller - then the real challenge comes, trying to get 10 cells in the fuse while maintaing a proper CG.
First attempt was with a straight stick of 10 2600s - had to add lead to the nose to balance it. Second attempt was 4 over 6 2600s - better but still not dead-on. Finally, I used a 4 over 6 1700 pack that fit nicely under the wing joiner - CG was dead-on without any additional lead. Also, make sure you install the elevator servos in the V-tail as opposed to in the fuse - this from a lesson learned -- dckemper - e-Sailplanes.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted from the RCGroups.com Discussion Forums.
