FYI, I tried this program and it did nothing to stop SPAM. Netscape's spam filter works pretty good. Now, I only get a few a day versus 20-30 a day with MailWasher.

You might consider a program like MailWasher   http://www.firetrust.com/

It's a freebee. You see the ads in free mode and if you pay a small amount , you don't see the ads. This allows you to view all email on your provider's server and only download the ones you want. I always screen everything and am never bothered with spam or viruses. Since this list does not allow attachments, anything that presumes to come from this list and has an attachment is trashed before it ever gets to my machine.
