I am posting this for our club president. Hello, F5J Electric Soaring Enthusiasts:
The Albuquerque Soaring Association announces that registration for the 2004 F5J Electric Soaring World Challenge has been extended to Thursday, October 7, 2004. The contest will be held at the Gardner Turf Grass Farm at McIntosh, New Mexico, just 40 minutes East of Albuquerque on Oct. 15-17. Weatherwise, this is a delightful time of year in North Central New Mexico. Friday, October 15 will be available for field practice, and competition will take place on Saturday and Sunday, ending at about 1 pm on Sunday. We will hold a banquet Saturday night in Moriarty, NM. We will have three classes of competition--Speed 400, 7-cell, and Unlimited. Entrants may compete in any two classes. For more details, including on-line registration, please go to http://www.soarabq.org/f5j_wc_2004/f5j_main.htm or just go to the ASA club website at http://www.soarabq.org and follow the link to the F5J Electric Soaring World Challenge. This is an AMA-sanctioned event, so AMA membership is required for participation. Registration absolutely closes on Oct 7, so register TODAY to reserve your frequency. See you there!!
