The rocket guys had a discussion about copyright/patents/royalties on model
airplanes a couple weeks ago. Same results. Lots o' whining and no action
plan.

The question is whose job is it to organize a campaign? I expect it is
going to be someone with some pockets, connections and petitioning
experience.

AMA?
Some "small business person's organization"?

Not to sound too alarmist, but this might be a good time show some unity and organization skills before
some obsure provision of the Homeland Security Act starts to infringe on our
rights to fly anything.

Simon,
I think there are a few venues to bring this situation to light:
   CBS 60 Minutes
   Jay Leno
   Dave Letterman
Each of these is accessible via email. Maybe if the situation got very
public exposure .... I know I would mind seeing Jay or Dave listen to Don
Stackhouse of DJ Aerotech explain the situation.
