Great, looks like others in the same boat as us are actually doing something about it. Although I'm in Canada, I have written LM, Boeing, and other OEM's involved expressing my displeasure, as well as local/national news organizations.

Like I said...squeeky wheel gets the grease. How about anyone else on this list? Realistically, if a few folks here actually "did" something, it sure would be interesting if you saw the end-results on the local boob-tube publically flogging the appropriate organizations (like LM).

As someone pointed out, the word "safe" being peddled by those who are attempting to justify double-dipping(?) is a good indicator how tenuous their position may be. Safe? Give us a break...then again if I poke my eye out with the sharp nose cone on a model "replica" of an F-104, does this mean the (US-based) legal system will allow me to litigate successfully? Given the most recent Stella awards (the name coming from the woman who successfully sued McDonalds for 2.9 million because the coffee was too hot - google and weep)...it would seem anything is possible.

So...help out and write the appropriate folks and make your views known. Who knows, maybe Mr. Stackhouse will eventually be allowed to produce what ever he desires...
