Not really. I just checked the 3 Uplinks I have left and only a quarter to three eights of an inch of antenna extends out from the boom. Just enough to tape it to the stab. Not enough to have any effect, tuned or untuned, at 72 Mhz. -- Dick Barker Port Angeles, WA - Turning HLG Around -
