The version I quoted emphasizes that how one is taught prior to age
seven, reflects how they will respond after age seven.

Anthony quoted Loyola's statement.  That one emphasizes that what is
set in early childhood, remains set for their life.

A third version "and after that he is mine forever", reflects that
beliefs are set by age seven based upon what they are taught, and that
the individual will not stray from those beliefs, in later life.
