I also run OpenBSD on my Soekris units.  It is a very compact install,
allowing me to install the full OS including X (not to use, just for
the dependencies) and various packages as I see fit on a 1GB flash if
need be.

I usually install mine on 4G or 8G flash cards just to give a little
more breathing room and log space.

I run -CURRENT snapshots, and they just work.
