Hello, Well, I read the sofsip_cli documentation wiki and that answered my question about setting the contact (it is a command line specification (i.e. --contact="sip:*:...).
Now it appears everything I need is working with sofsip_cli (with audio intentionally excluded). I am able to register and send invites as desired.
