to be honest, it's orphaned at the moment. The current Nokia folks 
contributing to Sofia-SIP are all working on MeeGo, so we don't have 
anyone actively maintaining the Symbian port (we did have Symbian
folks on board at one point, but not anymore).

One reason is of course that Symbian does have a good SIP stack of its 
own, so there's less need for Sofia-SIP on that platform (versus 
in MeeGo, where Sofia-SIP is the native SIP stack).

But yeah, the code is there, but nobody is actively testing the latest
git master on Symbian (and the other way around, nobody is testing sofia-sip
releases against new Symbian SDK versions) at the moment (at least
that I know of).

So in other words, patches are welcome to bring the port
back alive. I'd assume most of the issues are bitrot in
the project files. The dll support might be trickier... does Pekka
or anyone else remember what was the status with it (similar
problems with the win32 port as well earlier)?
