There is one thing that has to be taken into consideration:
The SDR QSD as in softrock is radiating a strong signal at the center 
frequency and that will get injected into the IF if using it as a 
panadapter.....

The TimeMachine has an amplifier at the input which isolates much of 
the interference from the LO but I moved the LO some KHZ out of the 
high selectivity filter that comes later in the RX (in my case a 
K2)
