Hi all
I recently ran into a problem when applying a jumbo patch. When i
completed the patching
process, which proceeded successfully, i rebooted the box. However instead
of just doing a simple reboot, i performed a boot -r. This has apparently
caused the SAN drivers to disappear.
I know understand that i should have performed a regular boot first
then a boot -r afterward.
But i don't really understand why. Could anyone explain why the -r
messed up and just plan boot is needed?
