i don't know the answer to joaquin question but i'd like to add a questions:
* can you translate the two networks into an alternative notation (VLSM)? i think they would be 10.6.44.48/28 for interface Ce0 and 10.6.44.64/28 for Ce1. please correct if i am wrong; it's been a long time since i worked with the notations. * can you edit the file /etc/defaultrouter and add the IP address of the other router (the one that's on the same subnetwork as Ce1, which i think would be the 10.6.44.64/28 network)? i read the manual entry on defaultrouter and you can have more than one IP address in the file. maybe the solution is simply to add the second line? * how will solaris choose which default router to send packets to? would it depend on the application that generates the packet? for example, if an apache webserver is running as an application on Ce0, would the packets that apache sends back to the clients (browsers) automatically go via Ce0 through the default router on the 10.6.44.48/28 network?
