I am new to Solaris 10 on x86 machine.
I have Solaris10 installed on my Dell Laptop. I have assigned an IP address
to the system, and the output of 'ifconfig -a' is ok; I can see the UP,
RUNNING,MULTICAST, e.t.c for the lp0 and the dnet0 entries.
However, the Internet browser on the Solaris 10 does not work; I got the
error: "'www.oracle.com' cannot be found" when I tried to access the 'oracle'
web page. Could someone inform me how to make the Internet browsing possible.
Please note that I installed the Solaris 10 on a virtual machine that is
based on the Dell Laptop.
An early response will be appreciated.
