Hi, the user creation misbehaviour is because you have setup to use
autofs to manage the user directories.  You have two choices:

1) Disable to use of autofs for user home directories:
- Edit the file /etc/auto_home and delete the line that refers the
users home directories.

2) Use the directory from the users that by using autofs it should be
/export/home/<user>
