The instructions for Mac is written by users that have managed to install Solfege on Mac. I have only made a few small changes they asked for to make it work. I don't own a Mac, so I have never installed Solfege myself on a Mac. This might be the reason why it is as complicated as it is. The windows port has been simplified a lot because I can boot Windows on my laptop and make a all-in-one installer. In the beginning windows users had a long list of packages to install before downloading and unpacking Solfege. I'd really like to have a nice port of Solfege to the Mac. The main problem is lack of hardware. If someone could sponsor me with a cheap mac, I'm sure we could make some progress. It don't have to be new and shiny, just with enough RAM and disk space for the work. Whatever that would be. > but then can you please tell me which way > it would be the best way to install Solfege on Mac (me being no a tech > person, can you please be kind to be specific on the process, please). Sorry, I can't help you here. Maybe someone else on the list can? Tom Cato > I apologize for the trouble but I really would like to keep using Solfege! > Its really great! > Well..
