I don't see how this would help. If the ResponseParser for
CommonsHttpSolrServer is the binary one, it will send the parameter: wt=javabin
-- in a 1.2 setup, that should give an error.
I think documenting that to use this for 1.2 you should set the
XMLResponseParser in the constructor is good enough.
