Hi Miller, Yes, I managed to get the zookeeper to start as a service on Windows in Windows 8 running Java 8. However, it didn't work on Windows Server 2008 R2 (SP1) when I upgrade the Java to Java 8. It is able to work when the server is running on Java 7.
