I'm not too familiar with this technology yet. I tried adding that &debug=query at the end of my URL, but nothing happened. Thanks again for the repsonse! All along, I just wanted queries for cat, cats, kitten and kitties to return the same number of results - and it does - partially because of the synonyms.txt file.
