Hello,

We use solr 7 and use

<charFilter class="solr.MappingCharFilterFactory"
mapping="mapping-ISOLatin1Accent.txt"/>

with mapping-ISOLatin1Accent.txt

containing lines like

# À => A
"À" => "A"

# Á => A
"Á" => "A"

# Â => A
"Â" => "A"

# Ã => A
"Ã" => "A"

# Ä => A
"Ä" => "A"

# Å => A
"Å" => "A"

# Ā Ă Ą =>
"Ā" => "A"
"Ă" => "A"
"Ą" => "A"

# Æ => AE
"Æ" => "AE"

# Ç => C
"Ç" => "C"

# é => e
"é" => "e"

Best regards,
