[Sony-vaio-z-series] Ubuntu 9.10 For Dummies Tutorial?

Dear list,

For me that don't compile the kernel every day and just want an excellent 
operating system on an excellent hardware the excellent tutorial "Installation 
of Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope on Sony Vaio VGN­Z11MN/B" by Philipp Blanke, 
September 02, 2009 has helped me setting things up on my VGN-Z41WD.

Is there any update plans on this great tutorial for the newly released Ubuntu 
9.10 Karmic Koala? Or could I follow the same steps?
