Nvidia changed the naming convention for the driver files since 256.25 as you can see here: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=2255561 I just did not have the time to change that earlier (you know, I do this just for fun!) but now I did. Simply rerun the janitor; it wil offer you to update itself. I hope it works now, If not, please run the script in debug mode: sudo /usr/local/bin/sony-VGN-Zseries-janitor -vx and send me the tracefile which will be referenced at the end of the script > > Can anybody help me, please. > I need my computer working very soon. Btw: I use the nvidia driver from distribution (simply install with the janitor script after first completely removal of all nvidia drivers). Since Lucid the driver is handled different (nvidia-current) and is almost up to date so no more need to take the files from the nvidia download server. But since I am running maverick, i cannot exactly test how it work in your case.. Regards, Raphael -- Raphael Gradenwitz *** GnuPG-FP: 3FEC B9A0 E784 F9B9 8AFA ECD3 EBE1 4E73 B309 66B4 ***
