YAMBIO, 15 May 2013 [Gurtong] – A victim identified as Linda Silvano
said she was preparing her groundnuts and as she was coming out of the
kitchen, the suspect hit her hand and she immediately fell sick.

Ms. Silvano says that it is after she had fainted that the suspect
came and poured water on her speaking in gibberish language which
enabled her to open her eyes.

However, Mr. Simon Gerdino, the youth chairperson in the area said as
they saw the situation was worsening and the woman was suffering they
took the suspect to the house of the chief for further investigation
then the suspect asked the case not to be referred to the police but
rather be handled peacefully as she promised that she will heal the
victim.

The suspect was brought back until she healed the victim then all the
citizen decided that they want her to be removed from the area because
if she is not removed she will harm and kill many people.

Residents say it is not the first time because she had done the same
to another man who later died in February.

Simon Andrea Kubaya, the area chief appreciated the efforts done by
the youth to maintain the security of the area and as they handled the
suspect until they took her to the police station.

He urged youth to be vigilant so that security is maintained in the area.
