MINISTRY TO CATER ONLY FOR 150 STUDENTS AT RUMBEK NATIONAL SECONDARY Friday, 17 May 2013 14:52 | The National Ministry of Education announced that it will only cater for 150 senior one students out of over 1,000 that applied to join Rumbek National Secondary School for the academic year 2013-2014.
The new head teacher of the national school, Shadrack Chol Akeemtet, told Good News Radio on Friday that the national ministry directed him to take only 150 students under the responsibility of the ministry. The directive puts another 150 students at the unlikely care of Lakes State Ministry of Education. Mr Chol revealed that the National and State Ministries of Education agreed to split squarely the responsibility for 300 students. There is a vacancy slot of 50 students allocated to other states, expatriats from East Africa and repeaters.
