Gunshots in Yambio prompt another displacement

Radio AnisaMonday, February 20, 2017 - 15:21

Sporadic gunshots in Yambio’s Akorogbodi Residential Area on Saturday
forced residents to desert their homes for safety. Random gunshots were
heard in two different locations in Yambio on Saturday evening, Radio Anisa
reports.

An eye witness sees dead bodies on ground. Houses of a famous local
musician were burnt into ashes during the exchange of fire. Anisa Radio
could not obtain details on who were involved in the fighting and
why. Since on Saturday, local journalists had seen government forces
patrolling Yambio Town.
